Developed and strengthened partnerships with public agencies, Foundations, contractors, and community-based organization to support the advancement of Formerly Incarcerated Participants-Developed second chance Career program (MC3) that worked to address multiple barriers to employment and ensured overall personal development of program participants.- Worked collaboratively with Contractors and Building Trades to create pathways into union apprenticeships for Formerly Incarcerated individuals. - Created and presented workshops at the California Workforce association conferences on Trauma Informed care. promoted and advocated the importance of treatments for long term retention in workforce development. - Regularly attended workforce, construction and industry meetings and used this opportunity to build fruitful relationships that lead to the advancement of the organization’s mission and vision. - Served as the Organizations Liaison with the California Workforce Development Board and Lead person on developing a statewide standard for Pre-Apprenticeship (MC3) for formerly incarcerated individuals.- Developed and facilitated Communities of Learning for grantees and Pre apprenticeship and nonprofit training providers across California and other parts of the country.-Participated and oversaw the development and impact of the Community Outreach efforts.-Cultivated new relationships and partnerships to support graduates with mental health and substance use need, financial assistance for rent, gas, tools, PPE, union dues etc.. And placement of graduates on major construction projects.
