Humatics was my first Job out of college and a great place to learn a lot through hands on experience. I started as a Junior EE and worked my way up to the Senior level over the years. Some highlights from my time there include:Designed PCBs for various subsystem components, from schematic capture through manufacturing and testing.Designed first generation transponder, a small battery powered RF device with a 900MHz data link.Managed the project for a lower cost and easier to manufacture version of the existing design.Designed smaller supplementary PCBs that interfaced with existing hardware to improve performance, add features, or correct expensive issues.Developed a Linear Chirp Waveform Generating a PLL with a distribution network functional up to 8.5Ghz. Simulated expected higher frequency performance in HFSS and lower frequency sims in LTspice.Worked closely with the firmware team to ensure proper functionality of all designs. Developed engineering documentation such as system requirements and diagnostic procedures.Created project prototypes and models using three-dimensional design software.Successfully tested and brought up a new MMW chip design.OTA testing and tuning of 60GHz and 120GHz SiGe Device, and designed supporting PCBsSpecified replacement BOM components for designs due to Supply Shortages.Managed the internal component Library in Altium Nexus.Reworked PCBs with some soldering heroics at times.Installed our hardware on the NYCT subway cars in the Brooklyn rail yard.Demonstrated our product for potential investors and customers.
