I am an Accounting and Risk Management professional with a background in Economics and Finance. My areas of expertise include financial audits, risk management, internal controls, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.Currently, I play a key role in the internal audit functions for both Indorama Eleme Fertilizers and Chemicals and Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals, focusing on the continuous review of the entity and process level controls, financial audit, and risk assessments.In my previous role at Egbin Power Plc (A Sahara Group Company), I was involved in the review of financial and operational processes and, and at Aquila Capital Group I was charged with evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal controls and risk management of all the subsidiaries. I also have experience in indigenous accounting firms, handling statutory audits, tax reporting, and filing for various entities.I hold a Bachelor's degree in Economics, a Master's degree in Finance, and specialized IT audit training from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Additionally, I am a Certified Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System internal auditor, and hold Six Sigma Scrum certifications.
