Production Work Cell Supervisor
CurrentSupervise employees in the operation, assembly, and testing of Specimen Preparation Products.Responsible for maintaining production schedules and insure adherence to ISO quality standards.Provides leadership, direction and support through empowerment, teamwork, on-the-job assignments and utilization and implement of continuous improvement concepts and methods. Manage resources within Work Cell to achieve weekly, monthly and yearly production goals.Performs Quality Control of production parts and assemblies using Helium Leak Detection to assure the integrity of the production process. Coordinate input for Manufacturing Engineering to create and maintain product documentation and software.Creates / submits Engineering Change Requests (ECR) to reduce manufacturing costs and improve quality.Create work instructions and operational methods sheets (OMS) to maximize quality and efficiency of productsResponsible for training employees, also aid in the selection and evaluation of employees within Work Cell.Works with the Planning Dept. to verify accurate on hand inventory.
