My passion for cinematography was sparked when I recognized that the person holding the camera not only captures a moment, a performance or an idea, but based on their vision, can transform any of these into a piece of art.While dancing and skating as a teen I saw the control the cinematographer had in capturing my craft. The skill of the cinematographer determines the viewer's experience. With the right amount of care and effort you can truly convey the performer’s intentions in their artistic expression. With observation and attention to detail you can find the perspective that allows the viewer of the recording to see what the performer or athlete wants them to see.With a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Film Production and a wide range of professional experience, I have developed fluency in translating a concept into a cinematographic visual and versatility in collaborating with artists of different media - be it music, fashion, visual art or storytelling. At every step - from the idea, to the planning, to the location scouting, to the organizing of all parties involved, to recording, the lighting, the sound, to the editing, all the way to the final cut - I use diligent research, clear communication and a trained eye to make a visual come to life.I'm eager to collaborate with other creatives, continuously seeking to develop my craft and expand on my portfolio. I welcome any opportunity to work with and learn from fellow passionate and dedicated filmmakers.
