I started part time at Nordstrom Rack in Pasadena Ca. After a year of working part time i was recognized as a potential future leader in the company and i was sent to the Nordstrom FNL program (future Nordstrom Learders) where i learned management skills, coaching tactics, ways to speak to employees in a professional constructive manner, and how to build positive environments in the work place. I was sent to train employees at the store opening of the Nordstrom Rack in West Covina. Shortly after FNL i was promoted to the Glendale Full line Nordstrom as the Assistant Manager of the Kids Shoes department. After a year and a half working in management, I transferred to the Personal Stylist team to fulfill my desire to work more closely with the customer. I helped petition for the opening of the school at the PAsadena Unified School DistrictAcademic Coach Chasing duties:Maintain an Average daily attendance of at least 85% monthly, with a student load of 30 or more. Encourage students to perform academically and coach students who are at risk of dropping out of high school back in to school.Coordinate field-trips in Art, Science, and HistoryAdministrative Assistant duties:Help register students into Pasadena campus/satellite campus in L.AAnswer phone and help direct students to the best path to achieving a diploma.Assist the registrar file/input new/re-admit applications in to the SIS.Schedule intake appointments for new students. Print photo ID cards for new students. Build teacher folders for all students enrolled each end of trimesterBuild/mail out report cards and monthly progress report letters to all students enrolled.
