Deputy Treasury Financial Manager

• Participate in the budget development and administration for my areas of responsibility; analyze proposed capital, operating, and maintenance expenditures; prepare reports and analyze related to impact of budgetary decisions; prepare financial forecasts; track and monitor budget expenditures. • Help manage financial budgeting and forecasting processes such as: sales budget, labor and production costs, and procurement, to ensure alignment with and achievement of organizational strategies and priorities. • Prepare and deliver monthly reports and presentations related to indebtedness, financial position, cash flow and bank availability, billing portfolio, net sales, and market position.• Manage cash flow and forecasting. Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.• Optimize the handling of Public and Private banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions. It includes the discussion and management of lines of credit and the interest rates assessment, the establishment of periodical meetings with Public and Private banking, and the preparation and review of the requirements the overseeing of credit prospects and the control and monitoring of collateral and appraisals.• Create, enhance, and oversee management of accounting processes (e.g., financial reporting, procurement, accounts payable/receivable, cash control/management). • Lead and assist with strategic and tactical execution on all accounting and finance initiatives. This will include assisting in the direction of the company’s overall financial policies, overseeing all financial and IT functions including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury.• Enhance and implement financial/accounting policies and procedures to increase staff efficiency and effectiveness.
