Dan’s Guitar Store are a fast-growing, small business focussed on producing high quality, highly functional plectrums. Since 2021 we have helped tens of thousands of guitarists transform their playing with the Precision Pick. Available in Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan and the United Kingdom.

Across technology, sales, service, and software portfolios, I helped shape and deliver capability needed to ensure the business is right-sized including development of a large scale planning framework for IT, lead an ERP adoption programme, provided a framework to revise their IaaS offering and lead and supported 3rd party negotiations.

I helped improve flow, efficiency, and control of the UK&I Run, Grow and Transform portfolios. This included process design, implementation and capability adoption for software development, sales and operations.

I Supported creation of the Portfolio Management Office. This including hiring staff, process development and integration of new tools (i.e. Power BI)

I delivered controls and standards to de-risk the final phase of a large transformation programme, including developing the onboarding process for 200+ FTE's (fast!), created the systems to archive critical business knowledge (at risk of being lost) and introduced programme wide risk management practice.

Forecast resource needs for a £25m portfolio. This included routine plan reviews with all services, control testing, assumption-making, annual planning and executive reporting. This included piloting MI for SAFe and leading automation of PMO intelligence.

Responsible for providing control and transparency for the Vantage transformation programme. This included: ensuring the PMO remains aligned to programme values, Identifying and managing PMO stakeholder needs, embedding financial, risk management, change and planning controls.

Responsible for providing transparency, control and governance in a key building and insurance industry business.

Performed a broad set of responsibilities critical to operation of the IT business within NHBC covering vendor management and systems implementations.
