Worked for the prime contractor on the Shenhua Watermark Project in their final stage of coal exploration in the Gunnedah Basin.Had structured and engaging one on one mentoring with the chief geologist concerning a diverse range of mining and industry techniques and experiences.Supervised drill rig crews and logged lithological and geotechnical data.Prepared and presented the overall daily drilling report summary.Tested gas levels using the SWP gas desorption method.After drilling was completed, I became involved in finalising databases and resource evaluation for the Shenhua Watermark Project, moving to GHD’s Hunter Valley office in Singleton. Had structured and detailed one on one mentoring with the principal geologist concerning computing and database tasks.Tasks included data validation, geophysical interpretation, and geological modelling; while working with industry recognised database systems, geological modelling software, and the MS Office Suite.
