With a career that spans over 20 years, 3 continents and 5 countries, Dan Walton has migrated around both the world and the industry. Starting at McCann Erickson in New Zealand, Dan has been fortunate enough to work in some of the best agencies in the world, with some of the best minds in the business. From Ogilvy, BMF and JWT through to time at both Colenso and Clemenger BBDO. Aside from advertising, Dan’s passionate about travel, having had several articles featured in international travel magazines across Asia, Africa, and New Zealand. He has also exhibited both photography and art in New Zealand, Hong Kong, and London, with one of his pictures exhibited in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney. He’s made documentaries in Zanzibar and Kenya, painted with the famous Italian artist Guido Daniel in Milan, and created a 360-degree underwater film of a 7-meter Whale Shark for Tourism Australia.He now happily calls Sydney home, having joined Meta nearly 5 years ago as a Creative Strategist.
