I have a wealth of experience in insurance and retail, effectively managing small and large teams. In the last few years I have developed a strong understanding of risk management practices and educated various operations teams to embed good risk culture within their personnel/processes. This has been achieved through my support in the development of clear risk profiles, well-understood risk appetites, mitigating controls and suitable risk acceptances. Underpinning this, I have led effective identification of emerging risks.Throughout my career I've shown a willingness to prove myself and progress quickly and effectively though hard work, dedication and determination into management. My people management skills and ability to build vast knowledge of the industry I work in allows me to add real value. I have received recognition for this throughout my career including winning Risk Team of the Year at the Insurance ERM Awards 2024 and a 'Special Recognition' award from the Senior Leadership Team for tireless work as the Retentions Team Manager.
