Head PGA professional/Academy Manager at the only PGA national golf academy in England. Reporting to the Director of Golf. Four time Ryder cup venue. Responsible for day to day operation of the golf academy and team of professionals, club fitters and retail staff. Overseeing tuition, custom fitting, academy retail, corporate tuition and development of staff and golf academy. Responsible for driving revenue and profitability at our state of the art golf facility consisting of a 34 bay driving range, 4 custom fitting suites with trackman launch monitors, 2 short game areas and the academy retail outlet.

Greater Newport Area

Reporting to the Director of Golf & Retail. Responsible for the delivery of all Golf services within the Resort, including tuition, (individual, group & corporate) and custom fitting. Responsible for the delivery of custom fittings at two “National Fitting Centre” facilities for both Taylormade and Titleist and a further offering of Callaway, Mizuno, PING, Cobra and PXG. Responsible for The Golf Academy retail, including purchasing, strategy, project management, stock control, visual merchandising, staff training and development. Strong focus on ensuring targets are met whilst adhering to pre-determined budget. Directly managing a team of up to 10 individuals.

Responsible for the coaching and custom fitting aspects of the business. Driving revenue and participation and delivering a 5 star service to all members and visitors. Day to day pro shop retail operations to 500+ members. Significant community outreach including endeavors with Bolton FC, Lancashire sport, Battle Back charity.

South Wales

Ryder cup venue and home of the Twentyten course. Duties include teaching, custom fitting, retail and operational duties within a high end resort environment. Boosting revenue and participation. Dealing with high profile clients on a day to day basis. Offering the best service possible to members and guests of our 3 courses and 3 hotels. My strong passion and good understanding for coaching has helped me to become an established coach. Developing my knowledge as a professional and gaining more understanding of the golf swing, body and bio mechanics as well as expanding my skills in golf management through various cpd and external courses/qualifications.

Responsible for delivering tuition to local area and resort guests including devolping junior programs and corporate golf. Responsible for operational/retail duties within a resort environment. Playing with guests and members. Developing my PGA status and golf knowledge.
