About Daniel Weinman
Hi there, I'm Daniel. I'm a full stack web developer who specializes in building React.js applications, but prefers backend development. I enjoy building full stack applications from the ground up, generally using Node.js and Express for the backend.***To view my latest projects, please scroll down to the Accomplishments section, and check out my portfolio.*** After starting my career as a Mechanical Engineer, I quickly realized that it was not the path I wanted to remain on for long. There didn't seem to be much room for advancement in the industry, and I wasn't particularly interested in the work. I made a drastic change, and converted my hobby of playing poker into a full time profession. For the past 12 years I've used logic, statistics, probability, and psychology to rise to top of the profession. In my transition to the tech industry, I've found many of the skills needed to be a world class poker player to not only be immediately transferable, but also immensely helpful in the daily work of a software engineer.
