I was part of a hardware team that was responsible for the development of the Mobile Access Controller (MAC). The MAC was a mobile communications platform designed to provide voice and data coverage for field workers and could intelligently route voice and data over multiple networks (Mobile, Private Radio, etc.)In this role:• I assembled prototypes of the Mobile Access Controller (MAC) and interface wiring.• Performed modification of cable designs.• Wrote and updated documentation such as Vehicle Type Installation Instructions, Engineering Change Notices, Design Change Notices and Bill of Materials.• Performed testing such as temperature, visual, mechanical and EMI testing.
