I participated in the management of kitchens of several restaurants, gaining experience with food and people before pivoting into a position as a chef for event catering. After obtaining my associates degree I began working as a contracted chef for the film industry for many years before returning to school.I graduated with a mathematics degree in 2023 and will graduate with a masters degree in data science in December 2024. Projects that I have worked on both through my work as well as the University of North Carolina in Wilmington have involved:- Using clustering and unsupervised learning techniques on data related to exoplanets to assign probabilities of being captured rogue status.- Created an application that uses various text embeddings on unstructured data to be used alongside numerical and categorical dataset features and metadata to build retrievers to identify similar entries and filtered information from user queries.-Created an application powered by Agentic RAG using a variety of tools and retrievers to produce dynamic SQL queries as well as semantic retrieval to provide context to answer user queries.
