As the Programme Manager at IUCN SSC Asian Species Action Partnership (ASAP), I am responsible for coordinating and supporting the implementation of conservation projects and initiatives across Southeast Asia, working with diverse stakeholders and partners. A core part of my role is supporting local organisation development. I have 15 years of experience in wildlife conservation, with a focus on species conservation (including interventions against the illegal wildlife trade), protected area management, and organisational development for local NGOs.My passion is to apply evidence-based and participatory approaches to address the complex and urgent challenges facing wildlife conservation and human well-being, including the intersections with human rights, governance, and civil society. I have led and developed interventions on wild meat consumption, illegal timber trade, and techniques for surveying rare species. I have also contributed to policy development and advocacy at national and international levels, including for CITES and the EU. Additionally, I have substantial experience in strategic planning, organisational development, fundraising, and grant management for non-profit organisations.
