Advised firms on trade event logistics, buyers’ requests, and follow-up promoting exports to the US and raising the credibility of South Africa as a sourcing location for processed foods. Arranged business-to-business events, providing a forum for producers, associations, and processors to establish relationships with influential US industry buyers and trade representatives. Designed an annual training workshop for more than 50 agribusinesses to strengthen their knowledge, abilities, and skills, and improve their US sales pitches and "go-to-market" strategies. Convened advisory committees of CCA members and USG, addressing FDI opportunities in food security, dairy markets, risk management, airports modernization, and water as well as investment opportunities in Liberia. Initiated digital marketing plan for clients that included blogs, wikis, online social networks, and online videos to attract new customers, avert potential public-relations disasters, solicit feedback, and steer customers to the SMEs’ homepages. Introduced a shared knowledge network concept to SAIBLl where sector-specific information and best practices can be strengthened by a community of individual companies in an online forum.
