I've got 4 years of web development experience at the time I'm drafting this. Doing mainly backend tasks, but occasionally working on frontend side, using SASS, JS. Since the beginning of my career my go to web development framework is Laravel.Currently I'm working as a contractor. Mostly working on middle to larger scale applications, so queues and caching are something I need to be familiar with. I've worked with Elasticsearch too. Redis is my preferred choice for a memcache database.I develop on MacOS or Linux.I've only used relational databases so far, Oracle and MySQL to be exact.Mostly developing containerised applications, so code is easy to maintain, and has a platform independent developer environment.I like making sure my code works and can be refactored with confidence, so when time allows it, I cover my code with some automated feature/unit tests.I've used GitLab and GitHub as far as version controlling systems go, and I prefer GitLab. I prefer rebasing strategy compared to merging with new commits. I'm also familiar with agile methodology. I've used in Jira before, but I'm confident I could use any Kanban based ticket tracking system as well.I think of myself as someone who can easily adapt to new environments and teams - whether it's a small team or part of a bigger enterprise -, while trying to add my own perspective and experience.I'm not afraid to come forward when I have a suggestion, I like to thrive for the best result.
