Hub is a small and almost perfectly formed alternative music venue based in Leicester’s West End. Over the past three years we have become synonymous with ‘urban’ culture due to the Graffiti artwork covering our walls (all artwork is for sale) and the range of alternative music we promote; Reggae, Hip Hop, Drum and Bass, Dubstep and Techno.There is something for everyone to enjoy at Hub, from doodling on cardboard to enter our customer gallery to skanking with the best of them until 1am. We have now also started to open the bar as a cafe in the mornings with doors opening at the crack of dawn (8am) to provide Leicester’s commuters with the best take-away coffee in town (seriously its the best blend for miles).At Hub we pride ourselves on our warm and friendly service and a very intimate atmosphere (especially on Sundays with the Twisted Jam, an evening where anyone can bring an instrument down and just make sweet music). This bar job consisted of me going on shift and delegating job's to other member's of staff while doing other's myself.For bar work it was pretty straight forward, quick service food your standard high street drink's selection and no cocktail menu so bar service was pretty quick as well.
