Whether he's in the SF Bay Area, Midwest, or Sierra Nevada, registered patent agent Daniel Wright synthesizes his laboratory and patent prosecution experience to provide powerful IP solutions to inventors, entrepreneurs, and daring minds alike. Currently with Aurora Consulting LLC, Daniel wields his expert proficiencies primarily in the fields of medicinal chemistry, organic synthesis, and broader biotechnological applications. 
Previously sole in-house IP counsel at Verseon Corporation, a small pharmaceutical company in the SF Bay Area, Daniel managed the prosecution of a burgeoning patent portfolio engaged in numerous jurisdictions worldwide all while analyzing internal R&D efforts in drug discovery and computational systems and drafting new applications. His technical and scientific experience extends beyond his expertise in organic chemistry. During his undergraduate career, Dan synthesized a variety of organometallic catalysts in Dr. Seth N. Brown’s synthetic chemistry lab, publishing his findings in the journal Inorganic Chemistry (Inorg. Chem., 2013, 52 (14), pp 7831-7833). From May 2015 to November 2015, Dan worked a student externship for the Naval Surface Warfare Center – Crane Division where he assisted in drafting patent applications for civilian inventions developed in US military R&D, including various mechanical tools and devices, and as part of his Masters degree he engaged University faculty IP protection towards advancements in materials science. 

Daniel’s love of language and the art of writing motivated his undergraduate thesis on comparative aesthetics and ontology in existential philosophy, produced under the direction of Dr. Stephen Watson as part of the Glynn Family Honors Program at the University of Notre Dame.
