I was responsible for managing my own desk which involved the full process of recruitment from initial contact with clients through to sourcing and placing candidates. The range of clients we worked with varied from administration and office through to warehouse and industrial where I found myself to be most successful and have established high-quality contacts.• Develop own client database through pro-active and programmed sales approach to current and prospective clients.• Account management• Working to targeted key performance indicators including number of placements made, gross profit, sales and speculative calls.• Marketing• Territory management• Obtaining full job descriptions and person specifications from client companies (both by telephone and face to face) and advertising vacancies• Screening CV’s• Sourcing and interviewing candidates• Arranging interviews and briefing candidates• Working to targets and deadlines• Knowledge and understanding of the Employment Law and changes in legislation• Equality and diversity and ensuring candidates are eligible to work in the UK• Maintaining records and database• Administration, own payroll of up to 150 candidates.
