Working in the insurance industry has given me the ability to help people recover from the unexpected. In my experience I've had the opportunity to help individuals recover from unexpected losses as well as focus on profitable growth from a risk analysis standpoint. My claims experience has allowed me to thrive in a customer facing role. Daily tasks involve constant contact with clients and third party contractors, continued learning and development in jurisdictional regulations, and use of high level interpersonal and intercultural communication. My strengths as a team player as well as a critical thinking have gained me recognition as a leader amongst my peers and have opened doors to further my career and skillset within the insurance industry. After 4 years focusing on our customers I've transitioned my skillset to work from an operational role in our underwriting department conducting risk analysis. My ability to clearly and concisely explain complex situations and ideas in a simple cohesive manner have allowed me to evaluate low to high levels of risk and explain this to our internal employees and management to grow our companies business with profit. My focus in these departments have been in our business and personal lines of risks. I've developed a multifaceted approach to my day to day tasks which allow me to help our customer while improving the financial strength of our company through every interaction.
