Working in operations is an everyday challenge I've always enjoyed walking towards. Having new challenges to overcome and new problems to solve is what drove me towards this path. I've always enjoyed being out of my comfort though and the satisfaction of completing something challenging drives me.My early working life was spent in retail where I quickly elevated into a managerial position. At Under Armour I started on the sales floor and almost immediately moved to running the inventory room. With the nature of retail being fast-paced, I loved it. From keeping the inventory team on schedule, moving efficiently, while also keeping the sales floor stocked to covering the sales team when needed, everyday brought a new challenge. When a new opportunity opened at Blue Label Elixir, I quickly jumped on it. The story was the same, I started as a manufacturing assistant to an account manager very quickly. Seeing that this was a small business, it was necessary for me to wear many different hats on a daily basis. This lead to moving into an operational role, eventually leading the charge on that front. In my time at Blue Label I implemented an active inventory system to insure raw materials were always available. Between setting the daily manufacturing schedule and continuing my relationships with our accounts and vendors, it was my goal to take care of everything other than the taxes so that ownership could focus on the bigger picture.Blue Label had to eventually close its doors recently, so now I am excited for new opportunities. New challenges to concur and more problems to solve.
