As Blue Label Elixir was a small business, I had to wear many different hats on a daily basis. My days consisted of anything from setting the daily manufacturing schedule to the purchasing of raw materials. Here is a quick overview of all those things:- Implementation of an active inventory system to ensure the availability of raw materials- Negotiating lower pricing with our vendors while exploring opportunities with new vendors- Coordinating with legal for the companies application to the FDA- Ensuring that our ISO certified lab was following the proper practices and operating efficiently- Keeping my relationships with our B2B accounts and vendors to make sure the business was operating properlyBy the end of my time with Blue Label, I was doing everything but the taxes so that ownership could focus on the bigger picture.

In this role, my main responsibility was make sure my team of 8 employees ran efficiently. I would oversee and process every shipment the store received. We would stock the inventory room and then stock the sales room. We would also cover the sales staff when they had a busy day or we finished ahead of schedule.

This was my initial role at Blue Label Elixir. I started out in this role to relieve the load from our sales staff. I then formed relationships with the vast majority of our 200 B2B accounts. This was done by regularly checking in on them to confirm they had everything they needed to keeping their sales growing. Most of these relationships were formed by traveling globally to attend trade shows to either introduce myself or reestablish the relationship.
