- Directed strategic planning and restructuring to implement new organizational mandate.- Development of CIFES Action Plan 2015-2018, including implementation of four key Programs: a) National Solar Strategic program (PES); b) Self supply and distributed energy generation program for industry sectors (ProSA); c) Mini-hydro + transmission project coordination program in priority watersheds; and d) Sustainable district heating program.- Lead technical design and implementation of risk mitigation instruments, guarantees and other promotion instruments to address identified barriers to sustainable energy projects and infrastructure.- Execution of current programs and projects with our partners (CAF, GEF, IADB, KfW, GIZ, NAMA Facility, CORFO, FNDR Bíobio, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Environment, ACHEE, CPL, ACERA, etc.)- Systematization of existing public incentives for renewable energy project promotion (assessment, monitoring and impact evaluation of current incentive framework).- Lead liaison and outreach with all relevant actors in Chile’s national innovation system for sustainable energy. - Speaker in various national and international conferences as government representative (e.g. COP21, Latin American Carbon Forum, CIREC Week, etc.)

- Creation of the new M&A business line with focus on renewable energy projects in Chile. Responsibilities included design and implementation of: Business model, operational protocols, products/services development, contracts templates, market intelligence and all other necessary components to start the M&A business line. - Identification and analysis of potential foreign and domestic investors in renewable energy projects in Chile- Origination and analysis of potential target projects in Chile in various stages of maturation and technologies, meeting the investment strategy of investors (buy side) and financial needs/business model of the developers (sell side).- Advising clients during M&A transactions either sale/buy side, involving advise in formulation of sale strategy, capital raising and due diligence, among others.

- PwC’s Focal point on Energy, coordination of consulting services for this sector and identification of competencies within the firm. Lead studies on the Chilean power market and energy sector analysis (Partnership for Market Readiness, Aggregation Mechanism to secure PPAs for NCRE projects, economic impacts of the increased integration of NCRE in the power market in Chile).- Leader for CDM project service line and carbon management (feasibility studies, implementation of carbon credit component, validation and registration of projects under regulated market standards or voluntary markets) for large clients. Leader of multidisciplinary work team tasked with multiple parallel projects.- Commercial management within the S&CC area, identification/origination of business opportunities for the Firm, structuring of proposals, negotiation of technical and commercial agreements, as well as project execution related to Energy and Climate Change business Line. - Advisory services for project developers in Chile on Project Design Document (PDD) elaboration and presentation with focus on Renewable Energy. Projects include: a wind farm project (X Region) and two hydroelectric projects (VII and VIII Region).

· Development and coordination of a new business line: Carbon Footprinting and Offsetting consulting services for the Andean Region with focus on the Chilean, Peruvian and Colombian markets. Development of strategies for achieving regional targets. Regional liaison with VER team at the Headquarters.· Structure commercial and technical proposals for Carbon Footprinting and Offsetting projects.· Provide consulting services to determine Corporate Carbon Footprints and develop carbon management strategies for organizations.· Responsible for identification of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) reduction projects in the Region with potential to generate Carbon Credits under the Kyoto Protocol and the Voluntary markets.· Origination Management of projects in the Bolivian and Venezuelan markets. Liaise with host country authorities and associations for sector and project specific development. Coordinate intermediaries and partners in the different markets under my responsibility.· Proposal preparation (technical and Commercial).· Conducting of negotiation for Emission Reductions Purchase Agreements in the Andean Region.· Organization of workshops and participation at international conferences.

Carbon credit generation potential analysis and estimations for projects in a variety of sectors and technologies: Renewable Energy (hydroelectric, wind power, biogas, biomass cogeneration), Energy Efficiency, Industrial Gases destruction, Landfills, among others. In the following countries: Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina.· Project Management of CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) projects along the CDM cycle.· Identification and application of the approved methodologies for emission reduction projects. Project Design Document (PDD) elaboration and Monitoring protocol design for CDM projects.· Coordination of activities with other implementation units and backstopping offices. In particular with the South American regional implementation team based in Brazil.

· Document title: Analysis of the Present Situation and Future Prospects of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) in the member countries of the Forum for East Asia and Latin American Cooperation (FEALAC).· Information gathering and analysis of the CDM background for the countries in the FEALAC region.· Design of a survey addressed to focal point and Designated National Authorities (DNA) of the FEALAC countries.· Conclusions and Recommendations preparation for the FEALAC working group meeting held in Tokyo (June 2006).
