The mission of the Integrated Primary Prevention Program is to implement a dynamic research-informed system that increases protective factors and reduces the prevalence of harmful attitudes and behaviors throughout the total joint force.

Working in the Robison Lab, we study drug addiction, primarily with cocaine. Understanding the neurobiology of addiction is key to advancing treatments. This summer, we ran experiments to see the importance of a specific brain circuit, from the Lateral Entorhinal Cortex to the Nucleus Accumbens, by manipulating this circuit with various lab methods.

This internship granted university students the ability to work in an after school program at Roskruge Billingual K-8 School in Tucson,Arizona, teaching 6th-8th grade students various skills in mathematics through lessons, activities, and group work.
