About Daniela Garcia

Known as a high-energy, influential, and collaborative senior advisor, the hallmark of my career has been spent identifying educational need areas and cultivating the strategic relationships, collaborative partnerships, and policies needed to drive positive change—at the national, state, and local levels. In my current role, as Policy & Partnerships Lead for Pearson I continue to leverage my background and commitment to education by cultivating key relationships with decision makers and influencers to identify and secure new business growth and expansion opportunities for charter schools, while closely monitoring K-12 policy. Prior to this, I led and directed cross-functional teams and worked with senior leaders, government-appointed officials and stakeholders to help develop, execute and promote legislation and the priorities, goals, and initiatives of the US Department of Education. As a former elected official and passionate public servant, I serve as the bridge between government and the public driving consensus and developing community outreach programs that promote engagement in and awareness of meaningful legislation. Professionally, I am known for an unwavering commitment, superior work ethic and well-exercised ability to quickly shift gears, understand and respond to cross-departmental business issues.Growing up in a household of educators, earning a graduate degree in Education Administration and Policy and serving as a trusted adviser to the U.S. Department of Education, you may say a commitment to quality education is not only my profession, it’s a lifelong passion.
