Daniela Grech graduated in Law and European Studies at the University of Malta. After being conferred her final degree in November 2007, she joined the Civil Service, and held different roles within the Managing Authority for Cohesion Policy (PPCD) the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry and currently the Ministry entrusted with EU Funds. Her experience ranges from the monitoring of infrastructural projects funded through ERDF and CF in the areas of R&D, Climate Change, Waste, Water, Transport and Health, to overseeing Financial Instruments and other forms of support to the private sector. From 2019 to 2022, she was tasked with the coordination of the monitoring, communication and evaluation of the ESIF Programmes implemented in Malta and their socio-economic impact on the Maltese islands, whilst overseeing the Managing Authority's training programme and procurement unit.Her role within The Malta Chamber was that of heading the Projects and EU Funds team, through which she oversaw the implementation of projects by the organisation, and provided guidance and assistance to the Chamber members in order to source the most appropriate support streams for their business ideas.In July 2023, she joined the technical team within the Office of the Permanent Secretary (EU Funds), focusing specifically on assisting the Ministry and the Managing Authories in areas related to Financial Instruments, the ERDF/CF/JTF Programme, and the Asylum, Migration, Security and Border Management Funds.
