Hi! My name is Daniela and I am a Naturopathic Intern. Let me give you a lil introduction on my journey and how I found Naturopathic Medicine. Ever since I can remember I knew that I wanted to work in the medical field and help people. My father is a medical doctor and I always admired his work and how he made others feel. I did my undergrad at UOIT for life science and soon found interest in Anatomy, Physiology and Nutrition. I also did a Masters in Biomedical Engineering and was just obsessed with how the human body worked. I started to become more interested in holistic medicine and when I learned about Naturopathic Medicine, I knew that I had found the right profession for me. 🌿💕I am currently doing my fourth year at the Canadian College of Naturopathic medicine (CCNM) and I can wholeheartedly say that Naturopathic medicine changed my life. I did not only learn natural modalities to help others but I have applied everything that I have learned to my own personal life and have personally experienced the huge impact that naturopathic medicine can make. ✨Throughout my journey in Naturopathic school I have found an interest in endocrinology (I am obsessed with hormones!!) and women’s health. I love to work with thyroid disorders, diabetes, menopause, weight changes, sleep problems, period pains, PCOS, menstrual cycle irregularities, and fertility.
