-Drafted testimonies for Maine PFAS and Plastics legislation-Developed fact sheets for Landlord Reporting of PFAS and Safe Drinking Water bill-Wrote blog posts for the organization website, and op-ed pieces for review of the Plastics Bill

As part of the ambassador program I interned with an environmental health organization (Defend Our Health), attended monthly climate and health tranings and bi-monthly Ambassador meetings, and took part in 3 different advocacy actions, including publishing an Op-Ed in the LA Times around water management for the Colorado River.

Conducting drinking water quality research in Paradise, CA as part of PHI and UCSF's Fire and Water study to identify over 100 VOCs including Benzene that may be present after 2018 Camp Fire. As part of this position, I reached out to community members regarding testing and community events, conducted interviews with participants, collected water samples, and did data entry for results return. Additionally, I co-authored an article with Dr. Gina Solomon that was published in the San Francisco Marin Medicine journal; this piece outlined the purpose of the Fire and Water research study and consequences of Benzene in drinking water.

Conducting research on the relationship between illegal waste dumping and homeless encampments in Oakland, California. Using multi-method approach including interviews, literature reviews, and geospatial analysis.
