Born and raised in Houston, TX, I always had a curiosity of the diverse society around me. As a first generation college student, I have studied the ways of communication and how it disseminates information, messages, and satisfaction to diverse audiences. Reading in my spare time has also taught me how successful creators can be when they properly address audience feedback, and my creative passion motivates me to help creators and organizations expand their reach. Since high school, I have been volunteering to help independent writers with their dreams of crafting a world readers can escape to and create a memorable experience. Even something as simple as moderating a comment section, allowed me to connect readers to their favorite stories by having their thoughts and questions acknowledged by the author or the story itself.Now why would I change careers into Telemetry Monitoring? I first learnt about EKG during my sports medicine classesin high school when I was the Tennis team manager. The interest has always remained at the back of my mind, and my curisority was rekindled when I took a Sports Entertertainment course during my communication studies. I have a passion for helping people, and being a Telemetry monitor enables me to have a closer connection to those that I want to help and have a greater, positive impact on the community around me.
