I am a first-generation Latina student at Virginia Tech, pursuing a double degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and Communications, with minors in Leadership and Social Change and Science, Technology, and Law. My interdisciplinary education has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to develop sustainable solutions for complex social problems.In addition to my academic pursuits, I am passionate about entrepreneurship and brand storytelling. I founded SANDAN MEDIA, a dynamic agency that helps entrepreneurs and small businesses communicate their unique visions to their target audiences through social media platforms. I also work as a social media intern at the Virginia Tech Office of Undergraduate Research, where I promote research opportunities and achievements to the campus community. Furthermore, I serve as a community engagement research intern at VTEngage, where I support community-based learning and research initiatives that address local and global challenges.My ultimate goal is to uplift individuals, communities, and businesses, and to drive positive social change. I believe in the transformative power of self-improvement and development, and I am eager to assist others in finding and amplifying their voices.
