A dedicated, committed and a person for others passionate in becoming a healthcare worker to help the many individuals who are seeking for medical help. As a person for others, it raises my interest in the medical field and the opportunities one has to be able to help many of the individuals. As a current Undergraduate student at Lake Forest College, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with a Major in Neuroscience and Spanish along the pre-health track. Currently part of the Health Professions Program at Lake Forest College learning about the broad amount of professions the medical field has to offer to many individuals like myself. Previous experiences have lead my interest in becoming part of the aspect of being a person for other in the healthcare field. As mentioned, I've had previous injuries that have lead me to be in contact with many different healthcare workers and these experiences made me realize that this is what I wanted to do, this is what I wanted to be. The help and support that previous healthcare workers have provided not only to me but as well to my family, have motivated me to continue through this path. Being a part of a summer STEM program during my high school years peaked my interest even more in the medical field and the variety of ways one can be a person for others and help many individuals. I have previously worked at Northshore University Healthsystem Human Resource and have had exposure to the environment in the hospital. Seeing the enthusiasm these healthcare workers express as they help patients makes me excited that we have many people like them in our world and would like to be one of them in the future. I am seeking opportunities that will overall become important experiences for my future.
