I am a dedicated PhD researcher delving into the intricate relationship between surrealism and magic, with a particular focus on the works of Leonora Carrington. I have had the privilege of facilitating numerous seminars and lectures, enriching both my own knowledge and that of my peers. In tandem with my academic pursuits, I work at Lilford Gallery, where I play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our exhibitions and events. From curating and hanging exhibitions to orchestrating engaging workshops and events, my responsibilities span a wide spectrum. I am actively involved in visitor engagement, I handle social media and email marketing, maintain regular communication with our artists, especially when curating a show with their works, oversee website updates, facilitate sales, and create advertising material. I also create and produce content on the gallery’s YouTube channel which covers a lot of creative ground from gallery tours to intimate artist interviews.
