As Vice President of Workforce Development, Daniela Devitt and her team are responsible for all of CEA’s training & Outreach programs: CEA Leadership, Employee Development, Professional Edge Training Series, recruiting, outplacement, executive coaching and talent development for CEA employers. Daniela is a marketing specialist, keynote speaker, professional facilitator and trainer. Daniela and her team provide professional development and talent management programs for CEA members through recruiting services, psychometric assessments, team building, essential skills and leadership training. CEA has provided local Workforce Investment Boards with Professional Edge Training Series. Professional Edge is an HRCI certified training program designed for unemployed professionals to provide professionals with assistance during their career transition by offering weekly meetings focused on resources, leadership, soft skills, contemporary job search skills and opportunities to successfully obtain employment. Over 1800 professionals have gone through the training program and over 80% were hired! Daniela and her team provide professional development and talent management programs for CEA members through recruiting services, psychometric assessments, team building, essential skills and leadership training. Daniela is an experienced leader and works with businesses throughout the state as they manage their workforce transitions. She is an owner of Sentivo Winery & Vineyard, located in El Dorado County and The Cellar Wine Bar located in FolsomDaniela Devitt holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership from the Kansas State University/Fort Hays. She is President of the Fair Play Winery Association and sits on the Golden Sierra Workforce Investment Board. Daniela is active in the community, as member of the Business Advantage Network, various chambers and chairs the Business Service Committee for a local Workforce Development Board. Daniela speaks at Workforce Conferences, Chambers, Job Fairs and Community groups on building a strong, engaged workforce, professional development and transitioning careers.
