Supervision of a small marketing staff to produce any needed digital or printed collateral for the four retail locations of Meissner Sewing. Cultivate a quarterly marketing plan with the help of the general and sales manager to promote the variety of educational events and sales. Oversee management and creation of original content for the various social.

• Manage the design, and publication of the 32 page (4 per year) Meissner Magazine detailing classes, events, specials and featured products.
• Design all special event collateral including sales flyers, merchandise signage, and event signage
• Create all printed and digital advertisement.

• Work with company webmaster and web developer to update and manage all products and classes on the Magento e-commerce platform.

Created graphics and images for use on the website and coordinating marketing materials. While at Jewelry Supply, I became proficient in product photography, and enhanced my ability to edit photographs in Photoshop quickly. I was also responsible for maintaining the company website and product pages using 3dCart.

• Responsible for the layout, editing, and creation of the GovLink Review newsletter
• Creation of marketing materials and signage for free courses and events including the 16 page attendee booklet for the 11th Annual GovLink Conference
• Management of the company website, www.TheFTC.org. Also lead the marketing team on the website re-design from conceptual sketches, site maps, website mockups, to the final design.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining e-mail templates to promote free company events.Designed a CSS driven template that replaces the previous text-only email and incorporates the corporate branding used in the new.
• Designed marketing collateral for special programs run by supporters of The FTC. For example, the marketing collateral for all aspects of the Caltrans Contract Training Program including thewebsite.

Create and re-design advertisements ranging from 1/6th page to 1 full page. Edit and proof editorials and magazine layouts for the Sacramento, Central Valley, and Reno/Tahoe editons of Home Improvement & Remodeling Magazine.
