I worked for City Commissioner Al Schmidt, a city-wide elected official and Vice-Chairman of the City Commissioners, responsible to the execution of elections in Philadelphia. During my time working for Commissioner Schmidt, our office spearheaded various reforms of the Department, with the aim of increasing productivity, happiness, and cohesiveness for our employees. Our reforms, which I helped to research and direct, led to massive reductions in AWOL and an increase in Departmental rating from the City Controller's Office. As Data Coordinator, I was responsible for data management and productions, as well as most of the office's research. As Outreach Coordinator, I combined this with a role as a liaison to groups outside of our department, both within the city government and in the private sector.
