I spearheaded the user interface creation and development process of Marlin by NGA, a feature-rich iOS application that harnesses data from the authoritative source, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). This app empowers users to access vital geospatial information conveniently, whether for navigation, mapping, or situational awareness.To make Marlin by NGA a reality, I meticulously integrated data from the NGA's API (https://msi.nga.mil), ensuring real-time access to critical geospatial data. This involved robust data handling, API communication, and data visualization, ensuring that users receive accurate, up-to-date information at their fingertips.To ensure Marlin by NGA operates seamlessly on iOS devices, I implemented performance optimization techniques, reducing load times and enhancing overall responsiveness. Users can rely on the app's efficiency, while visualizing more than 100k data points.I was one of the original members of the NGA Mobile Apps team, initially run from NGA Research. We developed MAGE, Marlin and the GeoPackage libraries for the NGA all as open source on GitHub.I am a key member of the MAGE team, which has both, native Android and iOS apps along with a server written in NodeJS and a web app written in Angular.
