- Held three different positions beginning in Aerospace and Defense as an Analyst, next moving to join the Financials group to be the Committee Head, and last elected to be Vice President of Portfolio Management- The Culverhouse Investment Management Group (CIMG) is a student-run investment fund of $600,000 managed by selected students at The University of Alabama with oversight from a faculty advisor- Performed original qualitative and quantitative research, including developing discounted cash flow models, residual income models, and public comparable valuations- Mentored and manage six undergraduate analysts to facilitate learning and knowledge transfer of qualitative and quantitative valuation skills with a focus on the financial industry- Used skills in R to automate the tasks of the Vice President of Portfolio Management and have begun to expand the position to manage potential warning signs from quantitative metrics before investment decisions and position sizing

- Automated several of the monthly financial reporting processes using R for a large software convergence project- Interviewed managers across the organization to discover how the new software implementation would change their day-to-day tasks and helped fill these gaps by creating training and job aids- Prepared a punch list to begin handing responsibilities back to the business unit after a multi-year project

- Providing installations, support, and advanced troubleshooting for over 100 users in order to maximize system uptime as well as productivity- Build and maintain successful relationships with business partners as well as faculty and staff.- Regularly recommends and works with employees to implement technologies and processes to create a more efficient work environment

- Created test scripts that checked each piece of software individually to ensure that requirements were met, and the code was working properly before the updates were placed on the aircraft- Reviewed findings of software engineers, pinpointing faulty sections of code and correcting the issue either through updating the source code or altering the requirement in order to fit the need of the system- Worked with the Federal Aviation Administration during our software product evaluation, assisting them in understanding the structure of our software as well as many of the applications
