I am currently a sophomore at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business majoring in accounting. My interest in business was sparked through my participation in the MEET Kelley Summer Program at Indiana University, an introductory program to business. In addition to my interest in business, I also have a great passion for science and health which stems from the invaluable influence of my parents and grandparents. Throughout high school and my involvement with the organization Youth Serve, I was able to develop strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills as I worked with fellow philanthropy board members to review and award grants to organizations helping the youth in the Birmingham area. Additionally, my involvement with Mu Beta Lambda Business Fraternity, Inc. has honed my professional skills such as communication, professionalism, and teamwork through a series of workshops and has also helped me develop a high emotional intelligence. Through my involvement with Youth Serve, Mu Beta Lambda, the Kelley Undergraduate Office of Access and Community Enhancement, and my experiences as a Latino in the South, I have been able to broaden my perspective and understand the importance of cultural awareness and diversity of thought. I am confident that the skills I have developed through my experiences will allow me to excel in my future pursuits.I'm committed to continuous growth and eager to embrace new opportunities. Each experience offers invaluable lessons to carry forward on my journey of personal and professional development. As I look forward to 2025, I am actively seeking a Summer 2025 accounting internship that will allow me to apply the skills I’m acquiring at Indiana University and learn from experienced and knowledgeable professionals in the field.Interests: Basketball | International Traveling | Weightlifting | Watersports
