Performing pre-employment checks for candidates for clients in Financial Services and am trusted with extremely sensitive and confidential data. This role involves an excellent attention to detail and accuracy while following strict rules and procedures such as the Data Protection Act and FSA regulations. My duties include:• Performing credit checks (credit searches, money laundering searches)• Performing criminal checks (basic disclosures, CRB checks)• Identity verifications (passport, drivers license, NI)• Obtaining References, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are followed and met• Data entry and interpretation• Database checks such as CIFAS Fraud Prevention Checks and Sanctions Checks• Training new employees to the required level so that they can perform role effectively• Invoicing and cost approvals to clients• General office and administrative duties (photocopying, faxing, e-mail etc)• Communicating with senior candidates and clients in a professional manner and maintaining strong relationships• Compiling factual information to ensure the production of high quality reports of findings to the client and ensuring clients are kept updated on the progress • Dealing with queries effectively on a daily basis from both clients and candidates• Helping with the recruitment of new staff by ensuring that job specifications are met and ensuring all pre-employment checks are satisfactory.
