• Conduct and write on-field and weight room physical preparation sessions for the Vancouver Whitecaps MLS Academy. This includes both team sessions, and individual sessions with high potential athletes aged 14-23. • Provide game day physical preparation and support operations and nutrition protocols. • Responsible for monitoring and presenting testing and training data to medical staff and technical coaching staff. • Work as the lead physical preparation coach for our League One BC team. This includes designing periodized loading plans, leading, and designing on field and weight room sessions, leading load monitoring and testing, supporting technical practice session design, and providing game day support to the players and coaching staff. • Utilize multiple sports science platforms and technology including PlayerMaker (accelerometers for daily training load data), VALD force decks, force frame, and Nord Board, TeamBuildr, Catapault, PUSH, FreeLap and PowerBI.• Leading the data collection and testing process for our academy teams and external player evaluations. • Collaborate with our sports medicine team to support the end stages of the return to play process for our injured athletes.

• Developed and executed the strength and conditioning programs for our youth, high school, and college athletes. This included 30+ NCAA Division 1 and Canadian University athletes in lacrosse, hockey, track and field, and basketball, as well as national level figure skaters and multi-sport youth athletes. • Led our team strength and conditioning programming for the Oakville Hornet’s High Performance women’s hockey program and supported our team strength and conditioning program for the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League. • Led our testing protocols and supported the communication of this data to relevant stakeholders.

• Coached elite youth, high school, OHL, NCAA and NHL hockey players in 1 on 1 and large group settings. • Led warm-ups, coached athlete’s during their weight room and field sessions, assisted with daily administrative, cleaning and maintenance duties and assisted in the set-up and break-down of equipment for every workout.• Worked as a part of an inter-disciplinary team that supported the athletes in all aspects of their performance.

I coached athletes remotely helping them to develop their speed and agility and quickness, flexibility and strength and conditioning, while also optimizing their nutrition and recovery. I developed and implemented individualized fitness and wellbeing programs for my athletes. I am working with athletes playing basketball and women’s football at the Ontario University level, as well as junior lacrosse players.

In this role I support a variety of functions within the organization, including Program, Marketing Communications, Alumni Relations & Development, and Strategic Planning.

In this role I was responsible for the primary medical care of Men’s varsity basketball players at Western University. I attended practices and games and treated and diagnosed injuries. I also attended doctor’s and physiotherapy appointments with athletes and collaborated with these professionals to support the athlete’s care.

In this role I was responsible for supporting the academic and social transition of over 500 first-year students at Western University through the creation and execution of transitional programming during orientation week and the academic year, as well as through one-on-one mentoring. In this role, I also directly supervised and mentored other orientation leaders as well as programming assistants.

In this role, I worked as a part of the Global Brand and Customer Insights team, completing market research on customer experience and customer loyalty in Latin America and the Caribbean. Within my role I managed syndicated studies, conducted original research, created and delivered presentations, analyzed data, and managed our teams research budget.

In this role, I was responsible for the completion of a holistic health-care policy review for the province. I then completed an in-depth analysis of various policy issues, leading to the creation of new policies, or alteration of existing policies. This role helped to drastically improve my communication and critical thinking skills.

I spent two summers working as a manual laborer for a contracting company. This position showed my willingness to work hard and ability learn new skills in a fast paced environment with little room for error.

In this position, my role involved working directly with customers in a sales environment.
