Conducted laser tweezers experiment on various sizes of molecules to characterize oscillatory behavior of particles in the laser traps. Using this characterization of a focused laser beam's grip on the molecule we can posit which sizes of molecule the beam can reliably maneuver. Applications include molecular surgery, micro-biology research, atomic trapping, and more. All this work is thanks to Nobel Prize Laureate Arthur Ashkin for showing the possibilities of laser trapping.
