This three year work/study program where I attend academic lectures, partake in actual flight test laboratories as a flying FTE, analyze data, and present findings. I conduct research and development for the Variable Stability Simulator developed by NTPS. I assist instructors in the preparation for classes and flights. I assist student with data collection and data analysis. I help to troubleshoot, calibrate, and upgrade aircraft instrumentation.-77+ hr of Test Conducting. Additional 36 hr of FTE Experience-Developed Variable Stability Simulator (VSS) to support more than 40 flight hours of demonstrations-Tested new aircraft models, flight control laws, and autopilots to verify a simulator for students (>100 flt hrs/year)-Installed, calibrated, and updated test instrumentation and telemetry displays for test sorties (>400 flt hrs/year)-Executed test conductor and flight test demonstrations with instructors to assist student learning-Developed and tested simulator used for United States Space Force inaugural T&E course used in >30 flight hours -Evaluated and supported ground control station and control room operations for NTPS OPA

Analyzed performance of aircraft during takeoff, cruise, and landing to determine optimal settings for flaps, and roll speeds for given conditions.Made adjustments to databases of obstacles based on daily information from hundreds of airports across the United States and Mexico.Programmed in DOS and Python to sort through takeoff data for different airports, create new terrain databases for new airports, and sort through new obstacles from DVOF files.
