I worked as a research intern under Julybeth Murillo, a PhD student in Sociology, where I explored the role of education in driving economic mobility and the challenges of achieving equitable outcomes in the U.S. education system. My responsibilities included drafting interview questions for Latinx students, using AI to analyze trends and patterns in their responses, transcribing the interviews, and writing detailed summaries.

I was enrolled in an eight-week workshop that focused on multimedia journalism at The Stanford Daily. I learned technical and storytelling skills through hands-on projects. My capstone project was to interview students at Stanford and create a video that was published on The Stanford Daily’s website.
