My career spans more than 25 years of analyzing and managing issues that arise where private interests interact with public policy. Much of my experience has been within the energy industry, where clients have included: energy utilities, government energy agencies, international energy organizations, energy services companies and law firms engaged in energy-related litigation. Projects have included work with California's four major investor-owned energy utilities on long-term energy efficiency strategic planning issues, including development of a long-term plan mandated by the California Public Utilities Commission.Specialties: Tactical Business Planning: Development of detailed programs of action for accomplishing specific objectives—including identification of capabilities requirements, and staffing and budgeting of necessary resources.Implementation Management & Coordination: Mapping of tactical plans onto the organization, deployment of resources required for implementation, and continuous monitoring and controlling of plans against objectives.
