I am a senior at Saint Michael's College majoring in Biology and minoring in Education. I will also be receiving my Secondary Education License in Sciences come Spring 2022. I am actively pursuing biology and research-based internships and job opportunities, as well as opportunities in UI.Through my professional, personal, and educational experiences, I have had the opportunity to work with softwares such as SQL, Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite, Slack, and Notion. I am also skilled in Graph and Table Making, Sterile Techniques, Micro-Pipetting, Spectrophotometry, NMR and IR Spectroscopy, Field Notebook Keeping, Thin-Layer Chromatography, and have taken relevant coursework such as Cell Biology, Ecology, Organic Chemistry I & II, Anatomy, General Chemistry I, Population and Evolutionary Genetics, Epidemiology, Ecosystem Ecology, Physiological Ecology.Recognizing the importance of building skills outside of the classroom, I am participating in a career development program through PathMatch where I learn about different career paths based on my strengths and passions, as well as the processes, methods, and tools involved in each, and how my specific skillset can be applied to each. I also focused on building and further developing the skills and competencies important in my desired field.
