• Regional Ebola Preparedness Coordinator from Oct 2018 to Dec 2019: helped mobilize resources ($8 million) and coordinate WFP’s support to regional Ebola preparedness in countries neighboring DRC (where outbreak occurred).• Regional Covid-19 Logistics Coordinator Mar-Jun 2020: helped ensure flow of humanitarian supplies in the Eastern and Central African Region in view of Covid-19 related restrictions and facilitated global WFP Covid-19 support.• Also served six months at WFP HQ in Rome as Programme Policy Officer to develop a corporate country capacity strengthening tracking tool.

Regional Bureau Nairobi

• Managed Emergency Preparedness and Response Unit in WFP’s Regional Bureau for Eastern and Central Africa.• Supported WFP country offices in the region through frequent field visits and one-month deployments to Rwanda (as Deputy Country Director a.i.), Ethiopia (as Head of Relief a.i.) as well as South Sudan, Burundi, and Kenya.• Developed the Capacity Assessment, Planning, and Tracking Utility for Results (CAPTURE) to track progress on WFP’s country capacity strengthening activities and piloted the tool in Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya and Ethiopia.• Served as WFP’s representative in regional humanitarian coordination meeting.

• Led the development of the Humanitarian Dashboard, a visual overview of the severity of any humanitarian crisis.• Tested the Dashboard in various countries and developed an online version in collaboration with Google.• Deployed to Haiti following the 2010 Haiti Earthquake to test the dashboard and support needs assessments.

• Set up the first post-war inter-ethnic NGO project in Kosovo, employing 16 members of Kosovo Albanian, Serb and Roma NGOs to provide civic education training in their communities. Project later replicated Kosovo-wide.• Designed and oversaw the Voters' Voices Project (surveying 1,000 Kosovars) and Municipal Profile Project• Managed Political Party Service Center (9 local staff) and Serb Community Center (6 staff).• Organised public election debates, supervised a polling station, helped draft Municipal Statute, conducted seminars.
