My role as a licensed technician for DIRECTV would consist of me either going to a new customers house to install a satellite television system in their house set it up run wires neatly professionally, making sure everything works right educating the client on the new system and the remote or anything else that they will need to know if it was a new client I would have to make sure that I have all the necessary equipment in my van in order to install a new satellite TV system in the client’s house, for example the cable wire will have to be long enough. I had to make sure I have the proper satellite dish all the boxes to install in the clients house as well as any other tools or equipment. I would need to get the job done or I will go to a existing clients house and troubleshoot or fix the problems that they have or if it’s just an outdated piece of equipment we would give them the updated one like a new box or anything that would be upgraded so pretty much always working on customer satisfaction as well as relationship building with the client in order to ensure they are 110% satisfied with my work and the company that I work for. My job was very hands on and requires me to be a very mechanical person like handyman type skills for example. I am a very skilled person multitalented and also book smart and street smart with great social skills, fast learner and very adaptable.
