Connor's Public House is a popular Durban North Pub/Restaurant where we invite you to "Make yourself at home." I was a Managing Director and owner until January 2021. When we relocated in December 2020 I handled all the legal, licensing and contractual elements involved and ensured all health and safety requirements were met. Once I was happy this was done to the tee, I moved on (Christine Connor, my mother, continues to own and operate the pub). I needed more time for my work as a copywriter. I continue to handle all of Connor's marketing and communication (On a client basis), as I did throughout my 7 years as an owner.

I worked closely with some of SA's top agencies, providing them with copy and concepts for their brands. I also serviced many private businesses that chose to build themselves as a brand. I originally operated as Script Right: Saying what you mean. Upon leaving Connor's Public House as an owner I rebranded my copywriting business for a fresh start and now operate as, well, myself: Daniel Connor: Creative Copywriter - I say what YOU mean.

I worked as an in house copywriter at PT to gain experience in the marketing and advertising field. My experience up until then was in corporate video script work and I was looking to broaden my scope as a writer. I worked on packaging, promotions, ad campaigns, brochures, strategy documents, and TVC. I gained so much more than I could ever have expected from this highly experienced, professional and reputable agency.
