My role was to lead all Bitesize activity for the production team at MediaCityUK in Salford. I line-managed a team of 16: Assistant Producers, Researchers and Team Assistants. The team produced linear TV and short-form video, Flash/HTML5 learning activities and lots of written content and static visuals (photos and infographics) to enhance learning. A senior member of the team throughout a time of transition, including the move north and internal restructure, I led the Bitesize migration into the Knowledge & Learning product (iWonder). This process included migrating and re-purposing content to meet the BBC's one service obligation. The K&L product is the BBC's first to be responsive from its inception.Additionally, my role included leading on editorial workflows, defining our editorial approach to new content formats and managing relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.
